Probably ladderlog is what I am looking for. The log which shows who core dumped who. If the console log shows who core dumped who as well as chat that would work better so I can tell when the matches started and ended.

Rather than pm you the TSP ladderlogs, I am just posting them here, in case anybody else would like to download them. I would have to sanitize a console log since it has IP's etc. Nothing to hide in a ladderlog.

Edit: oops, i just double checked my ladderlogs, and IP's are shown...rather than me pm you the ladderlog, or post it, what are you looking to find out. It is a real pain to sanitize such a log, and as a responsible admin, I am loath to hand out people's IP addresses. People write scripts to extract info from such logs, and I would be willing to run such a script, after checking out what it does.

Well I could care less about anyone's IPs...hell I don't even know what to do with them. Anyway; I am looking for who killed who in servers 1(A) and 4(D)...how many kills this person had...how many times this team killed this team. I was basically going to analyze the logs and add the core dumps up myself to basically see the results of the competition since some people think a team used another team to grab all the kills. I just want the core dumps...like I said; I don't even know what to do with IP's...and I've seen plenty of them having permissions on servers. :/

Ok guys let's drop this please. gonzap played one round (to my knowledge) in the tourney for another team. This is about as bad as signing up for the ladle late, so we (SP) asked the other teams if they minded us picking him up as we only played with 2 players (orion and I), they didn't want him to play, which is understandable, I'd be scared of him too .

So I think titan did the right thing by not letting zap play, but I don't think the silencing was called for. Oh well. It happened. Let's just move on, neither of you has a history of being a troublemaker so i think we can chalk this up to a mistake.

INW: Just to give you an idea of what you are asking let me explain.

I am not going to provide a log with IP's to anybody.
To do what you would ask would require me or somebody to write a script, or parse the log by hand. I am way to busy with other things to do that. So, you, or somebody else would have to write a script to accomplish that. Only under those circumstances would I be willing to take the time to verify that the script in question would do nothing malicious and then run it and send you the results.

So what you are saying is that these logs look similar to this: Player 1(IP) core dumped Player 2(IP) for 2 points. If so I understand your issue with the list of IPs. Oh wel;l I guess I need to learn up some scripting...any points of direction?

Ideally you should have a linux install on a desktop of your own and learn bash scripting.

I have just traded PM's with Gonzap, he told me his side of the story. I have decided to hand search through the log in question to prove any guilt or innocence. This is too serious of a charge for you to make about Gonzap, and I would rather make the time and take away from my own game time than leave this up in the air.

Just an aside, for those of you waiting for me to setup servers, add one day onto when i said it would be setup, I really do feel a need to solve this if I can.
