The reason there are so many threads still arguing about this is that this community is pissed off, but not because of SP's actions, but with the fact that because this is SP nothing should be done and we should all look to the other side. Threads will die on their own when there is a solution.

There is nothing wrong with civilised disscusion, so why is there so many ancious voices calling to end this?
Maybe because of this:
Flex wrote: I hope this settles this and if people feel SP or myself shouldn't participate in the next Ladle then we or I won't and there won't be very hard feelings. But if I get banned then I feel I've massively damaged my reputation to be at a level that is not worth of participating ever again. If I am labeled as being banned previously or a trouble maker.
So Speeders official response to Ladle 36 is: yeah we screwed up and if you punish us we will not take any part in future ladles (or just flex, but non the less...). Since SP is one of the best if not the best team in arma at the moment, nobody wants this to happened, myself included. In another words they blackmailed the hole community.

If there is no repercussion to this there's no stopping, there will be no ground for senctioning any later actions of this kind, 'cos people will always be able to say SP did it and got away, why shouldn't we?

SP take responsibility and accept the penalty. I would like for you to propose punishment for your self. Let us end this in a normal way. Don't tell people to shut up or call for closing threads, since it's the same as saying to shut up.

p.s. i said i would not participate in this disscusion any more in my previous thread but i am really dissapointed with the way this whole thing is evolving

Okay, milan, I am going to take one last shot at appeasing you, and then call it quits.

Flex isn't blackmailing anyone, he is merely stating the truth, is it worth continuing to play somewhere you aren't wanted?

Our apology posts are scattered throughout many threads, I'm not sure if you've read them, but maybe they would give you another perspective.

The majority of the community is done with this topic, that's not to say they are turning a blind eye, however, they see that we have realized what we did was wrong and we won't do it again. They have forgiven and are trying to put this all behind them. Again those are their opinions, your's seems to be more along the lines of we still need more punishment and that's fine, but just because you feel that way doesn't mean everyone else does. Perhaps you could make your position clearer, and present your case to people, say what you think the punishment should be, but going around saying SP should be punished (with no details), isn't going to change things, it makes you look like you are just trying to continue this discussion for the sake of dragging it out.

The repercussions aren't always a physical thing. From this fiasco I've lost the respect of many and I know I will never be able to live this down. (Nice first impression by the way!)

People are trying to constructively fix this (ie. kyle's thread), and make improvements on the ladle for the future. But are tired of the bickering and politics, it's a game after all.

I will stick to my word, and now disappear into the shadows. No more posts from me.

EDIT: Oh and sorry for the bad comparison, that was insensitive of me.

There have been two warnings to keep things cool. Milan couldn't, so now he got a one week account ban to cool off (and as usual, circumventing it by posting with a new account would make things worse). His only contribution here beside bashing SP was a bug report he failed to give followup information on anyway.

And to protect the rest of you from falling into the same trap, this is now locked as well. SP apologized, a couple of people accepted. This chapter is closed. There may or may not be disciplinary action, but that should not be decided by who screams loudest or mob justice. I think we all should now stop calling them dastardly devils. They did something many of the rest of us considered wrong, sure, but we're all human and make mistakes.
