L36 Stupid Drama from Voting Thread

Re: Consequences of L 36 - Voting Thread
This topic is stupid. Let's make it simple: the next ladle is everyones last chance to act according to the rules, whoever breaks a rule, even if it's a tiny one gets THEIR ENTIRE TEAM banned from that ladle.
And this was my last post on this matter, it's enough now and a conclusion has to be made.

Re: Consequences of L 36 - Voting Thread
Ok a couple things.
People that are wanting a ban or even a crazier vacate of win. Please get off your high horse. It really didn't cause a competitive advantage when going from game to game.
Secondly, do you all really think we need a rule to make us not do it in the future? Do you think we are that stupid/evil? I'm literally shocked. I would hope that you all, with the exception of some people stirring up trouble because they have already had a hatred for SP, know us on an individual basis. We aren't trying to intentionally degrade the ladle by any means. There is no need for new rules at this time, because now we know how you all feel. We were ignorant, not malicious.
Flex came to me with the idea and I was like "yeah sure w/e". But if I knew that some many people would take this to such a high degree of disrespect for the ladle, than of course I would have said no.
Does my opinion still stand? Yes, I hold the opinion that no competitive advantage was gained, the best team won, and it really isn't a big deal. (Looking forward to the post that illogically claims my opinion is false)
Has there been past incidences which I've felt degraded the ladle further without support of the majority of the community? Triple yes.
Am I sorry for doing something that outraged some people of the community? Yes
Will we do it again? No
So please. Stop the witch hunt. I would hope that people reading these threads can see that the majority of the ones with the pitch forks have had beef regarding SP for months, for years. For the rest of you, good luck next ladle.

care to prove this assertion?PsYkO wrote: It really didn't cause a competitive advantage when going from game to game.
Well...I did.

It's to prevent anyone from doing it, not only you.PsYkO wrote:do you all really think we need a rule to make us not do it in the future?
And evidently, if there was a rule against it you wouldn't have done it.

If another team were to do it, the ignorance would be void and the maliciousness would shine through.Titanoboa wrote:It's to prevent anyone from doing it, not only you.PsYkO wrote:do you all really think we need a rule to make us not do it in the future?

you're shifting the burden, but i'll give it a shotPsYkO wrote:Care to disprove it?Goodygumdrops wrote:care to prove this assertion?PsYkO wrote: It really didn't cause a competitive advantage when going from game to game.
IB expected to play a much worse team in the first round, and only found out at the last minute that it would be one of the strongest teams in the tourney, so it's clear you had a pyschological edge over them
after beating them you had two rounds of easy matches, then a final against ct
ct was coming off a semi-final where they had two hard-fought matches against tx, so clearly your squad was better rested for the final as well
you can try to act like the ladle is 4 individual matches that don't affect each other, but it's becoming more and more a test of endurance as well...having hard matches spread out -> easier ladle overall for you as well
but again, the burden of proof lies with you, so this is all irrelevant
Well...I did.

I know it really means nothing because this is over the internet. But I am real. What I say is what I mean. What many people don't know is after last ladle when I came here and disrespected free kill on the forums..I PM'ed him apologizing for bringing it into the forums (and into the game, don't remember if I said that or not to him). Granted, it wasn't met by positive words, but if I learned my lesson, I will make it known. I am farthest from fake as possible.
So yes, although that post isn't a "oh please take me back mommy, I'm sorry" like I think most of these people want, it is sincere.
EDIT: Holy shit I like to type with a lot of commas xD
Re: Consequences of L 36 - Voting Thread
cool... can we forget this? i also ask for locking it and add the rule that the organization connsider right, just to prevent stupid little teams to do this..
Re: Consequences of L 36 - Voting Thread
You were up against an IB that played together for the first time ever as a team - in a US server. It's old news that eu players play much better in eu servers, and free kill/1200 do well with a higher ping. If we would've faced you in the finals instead the matchup would have been different. We would've had time to become tighter as a team during the (at least) 6 matches that lead to the finals.PsYkO wrote:Care to disprove it?
If we had known from the thursday that we were up against a revenge-hungry Sp1, I'm 100% sure we would've prepared differently.
I'm not speaking for the other 5 in IB, that's my personal view on it.
And let's not ignore the fact that it completely ruined the mood for me. I wanted to turn it into motivation, but in the end it was just anything but fun. It's the first ladle I've even considered silencing my opponents (which I did), and the first ladle I wasn't having fun.
Haven't decided yet whether to play in the next one.
Edit: Oh yeah and what goody said. Had this written up but forgot to post it. Decided to do it anyway.
Re: Consequences of L 36 - Voting Thread
Hahaha hilarious! That's the best shot you had? Seriously I know you're a pathetic fool/loser, but come on! That was seriously unbelievable. You're another forum prick who's on his high horse constantly splewing crap to everybody and specially SP and with your stupid thread about you frowning.. gtfo.Goodygumdrops wrote:you're shifting the burden, but i'll give it a shot

IB expected a much worse team? SERIOUSLY? They were whining (including you) 2-3 hours before the switch. Free kill, Luzifer, Titannoob, etc all had a go. I'm pretty sure they were all well aware. Last minute Hahaha - fail.
Talk about psychological edge? Yea I guess last Ladle, their anonymous names was not a psychological advantage at all. Right till the point of not being aware till they reached the finals.
Yup I guess Plus++ and WW is an easy team to you. And TX is the BESTEST team in the whole Ladle and luckly CT won them, BUT they were very very tired so that's why they lost.. RIGHT. I guess your theory of endurance doesn't make sense when you put into the picture of missing the first round and facing a team that was already warmed up while your team got a bye~, Exactly like in this situation where we faced two "easy" teams and had to play a well toned CT team. Reverse situations, 1-1=0.
