lol they were clearely joking, i'd do the same in their situation lol, it was kinda unreal, and kinda impossible for them to win so they started to joke. Lol, shouldn't you have won anyway you were 3v6 O.O

Another funny thing is how Tx decided to play their opening round in CT's USA because "Tx server was acting weird", (thus delaying R vs CTa's quarter final), and in the last round they'd go "What, this isn't CT Liv?"

Lol~

Open team would have won 2-0 but since the restart they were 1-0 and then they gain there players and won 2-1 but the last match was close.

We would have lost to SP anyway :P
And yes...TX vs dbd started 20 min late and our match started 30 min late i do believe. Waiting for TX to get more than 1/3 of their team is pointless and unfair but w/e; it isn't like we would have made it to the finals anyway. :P

Not true. TX beat dbd 2v6 in their first match. The average TX player is much better than the average Open Team player. This is one of those cases where having more players doesn't give you an advantage.

And in general, having fewer players works in your favor because you don't give up as many points. You may lose a zone or round, but you've usually racked up enough kill points to offset that (due to the other team's overconfidence).

Not really. If you can win with 2, then do it. If anything, it creates a unique opportunity to work on new strategies/tactics.

Thats not the point, at least we would have gotten another game, more time to play the ladle, thats the point of the open team, to have fun. The plus side is getting into the next rounds. To be honest not playing a single round is a joke.

Yeah, what happened with that? You couldn't select the team from the menu at first? Later in the 2nd and 3rd match I asked the acting team captain if I should come out, but he seemed pretty determined to keep me as def. I'm sorry custang, I didn't know what to do. Open teams are sketchy that way? :(

At the start I invited all the open team members (more than 6 I guess), and custang was too late with joining.. after someone went spec and he didn't know how to join? But he was invited the entire time. Next time just keep yourself as team leader lol.

Word asked me to make a two man team yesterday for the next ladle. I turned it down because I didn't think it would be fair for the other teams. :)
