And I'm really surprised by how much your view excludes the area immediately behind your cycle. Do you have to keep an eye on your mini-map a lot to combat that?

Haha, it's cheap effects from windows movie maker.
Yep, I play with only 60 fov. I don't look at my maps at all in sumo, sometimes in fortress. You need to have a feel for it.
