hey guys...after the first arma video i made of mostly me...i was inspired to make another.

this time, i'll be using more processing power, have higher fps, and harvest thirty times the amount of footage...of different players!

im going to spend a lot of time making an arma video to promote the game:

it's going to be along to music, about 10 minutes long, the song is chosen but i won't say it yet.

the beginning will be a bunch of short clips of different game types, the middle part will have aprox. 30- 12 second groups dedicated to different players.

i'm going to spend a lot of time recording players who want to be recorded...anyone, and make a video of the best clips of everyone, including me.

the first 40 seconds will be me, then the next 4 minutes will be other players. i haven't decided what to do at the end yet. the majority of it will be sumo and fort though...

the reason why i'm posting is so i can spread the word...and anyone who wants to be included int the video make a post here, and i will get as much footage of you sa i can in the next 4 weeks or so, then i will take the best clips of it all, and put it all together...

it's going to be amazing, and so adrenaline pumping...anyone who watches it will wan't to try the game out fo sho!!!!

post here if u want to be included, tell me ur game type and when ur on...and i will try my best to get some nice clips of you, and i will let you know when im recording too

hell ya man...spread the word...i want to get all the devoted players into the video (i'm sorry but it's just not possible to get everyone)


here is the outline of the 10 minute video:

throughout the entire making of this video i will need help from others at times...to do boxes with me..or patterns in a fort match

part 1: the music will be base beats from 0 to 30 seconds....there will be flashes of diff players...than short clips of intense situations...then a fort break out, then a speed transition into the main synth beat...it will all go with the music and be very cool

part 2: from 30 to 1:30 it will be clips of me in the synth phases (i might take this part out if it doesn't work out)

part 3: from 1:30 to 2:00 i will do 7.5 second clips of four diff scenarios...all utilizing the slow down and speed up affects so it goes with the music...it will be epic
1. start of fort game
2. large box with partner
3. grinding with partner to other sumo base
4. super speed then launch
part 4: 2:00 to 4:00
8 clips of 8 diff players each 15 seconds long with special effects at beginning of each one
part 5: 4:00 to 4:30
this is the hardest part of the whole video....
i need to get at least 10 players in a fort game...or 8 in a closed game...to gain massive speed, then make boxing patterns...and i will film it all, because it will go along very well with the outro part of the music....and it will give you a rush...trust me

part 6:
4:30 to 9:00 will be all 15 second clips of players, if there is a really good clip i will make it 30 seconds...
this is the longest part..

part 7:
this will be the outro...and re enter the theme from the beginning

first be showing short intensive clips...then by showing each players name along with the beat....

you will get a shit load of rushes watching this...if you guys have any ideas please post them...this is all the creativity i have for now

i'm really sorry guys

but the labtop i got doesn't have a tenth of the fps for tron as i was expecting...

the specs are 4 gb of ram....intel centrino duo processor....and a G210M 512 mb nvidia video card....all very suitable for tron...and all beter than the specs i have for my desktop....yet i can't get evn half the amount of fps i get for my labtop as do for my desktop....

which means i won't be able to get quality footage...at all D;

as of now i can't really do this any more , unless i find a way to increase fps..a lot

i don't use vsync

i tried running a game called supreme commander forged alliance..which uses up a lot of power...and it ran fine...but armagetron doesn't work well on here for some crazy freakin reason an it's really pissing me off. i don't understand how i can get games like starcraft II to run smoothly on here...yet armagetron gets 45 fps...so stupid

if anyone has any ideas....they are welcome
