On another note, speaking for myself, I would be glad to assist a C++ student (note: I define 'student' as someone learning, no school enrollment needed) who wants to learn by working on Armagetron... and obviously even students (or anyone) who know C++ already are welcome to contribute as much as they have time for. We keep missing the Google Summer of Code enrollment, but if a (formal) student needs a summer job, I'd be happy to mentor Armagetron for GSoC...
