Bug with armagetron

Hello, i am Portgas D.Ace. I have a problem with armagetron since i installed window 7 i think. I use as armagetron's version 8.3.1
The bike become white after about 30 minutes and armagetron crashed after more than five seconds. when I relaunch armagetron, any changes I made on the game before the game crashed back to previous settings.
I already try to change many parameters of compatibility but nothing changes.

Nice to meet you, and welcome to the ArmagetronAd forums.

Have you tried the latest drivers for your video card? That is the first place to start, and usually solves the problem. Your situation sounds similar to another player's. I checked that thread, but no solution was posted (although all signs point to old drivers). Try new drivers and post back with the results.


And these other guys are poking fun because you left out the "0.2" in 0.2.8.3.1... Just ignore them.

I'm not! I was just, in a non-sequitur fashion, playing off Durka's joke. Mine was independent of the 'OP.' You just didn't get it because you don't watch the boob tube.

Please pick one communication channel and stick with it. This looks more like troubleshooting than a genuine bug, so if you want to discuss it here, that's fine by me (and actually preferable, as the forums are easier to work with than the bug reports).

@Ace I've found no solutions. I just rejoin every 10 minutes. If it's an important game, I boot to XP. Oh well.

Maybe you should try the following:
Go to "configuration: systeme" -> "configurations: affichage" -> "performances" -> and set "Listes d'affichage" to "create and execute"

Yeah, i have win7 64-bit and Armagetron 0.2.8.3.1 works just fine.

I have vista and a shitbox for a computer. Sometimes the bikes turn white for me or it looks like they are covered in snow...very weird; sounds like the same thing you were looking at. It is weird but really cool and I would encourage the look of snow on the bikes for a new movie pack.
