Hi,
I am trying new input configuration settings. For each direction I bind 3 keys. My old settings are
Left: a,s,left arrow
Right: f,d,right arrow
glance back: down arrow
Now I changed left arrow to "j", right arrow to "L" and glance back to "k"
when i glance back with "k" now and wanna do a triple turn (still pressing "k" for glancing), the third key I hit is not responding and it results in only a double turn. I dont have this problem when i use my old settings.
Does anyone know, how to fix this?

Re: Keys not responding
- Don't multi-bind
- Release keys before you press the next one
- Get a keyboard with n-key rollover
- or get a keyboard that at least doesn't block on your common combinations
- Remap to something the keyboard likes
In other words, most keyboards can't handle all key combinations.

Ah, so its a hardware and no software problem?
Thx for the answer

Yeah, it's hardware. What it comes down to is that keyboard manufacturers won't pay a few cents to put a diode under each key. A few expensive keyboards do have this n-key rollover, as it's called, though.

Re: Keys not responding
<nerd patrol>I believe ghosting is technically when a keyboard registers keys you didn't press (FRE --> FRED or FRDE). That's rare; pretty much any keyboard will block instead (FRE --> FR) when it finds an ambiguity. As did Jip's with 99% certainty. Same low-level problem, different end results.</nerd patrol>

Re: Keys not responding
I spent ages figuring this out a while ago. All three right binds work simultaneously, but only two of my three left binds work.
The solution is easy... just do a 1-2-3 finger action rather than slam all three buttons down at once. In sumo or fort, there will be no actual difference since the turning circles are larger than the difference in your finger speed. Learning to do it one-by-one also gives you more control when you want to introduce a delay between the turns, for example, to move into position before trapping someone.
