That little exchange about reading personalities online is very reminiscent of Mecca and Liz's recent game of defending someone for typing and communicating like an idiot here, then turning around and bashing someone else for a couple little punctuation and grammar mistakes here. In other words, besides the blatant hypocrisy (right, you two never judge or caricature people online, then use it to troll and flame them ), we all know you're just bitching at myself and sinewav "for teh lulz" and will take nearly any position to do so, even if it contradicts something you said or did hours ago. Grow the hell up, get a life, stop using Encyclopedia Dramatica as your bible, or whatever it is that's called for here.

- I really don't care about spelling, punctuation, or grammar mistakes; those are comments I make "for teh lulz"

- Not at all, I really like sinewav (both in the ArmagetronAD, and in pre calc : )). The only reason I may seem to "bitch" at you is because you come across as an extremely arrogant middle aged man who thinks that your ideas are the only "correct" ideas just because you are older than most of the "kids" that play this game. Like I said in some other post, come meet me on teamspeak, and then we can judge character (pm me for the information).

- Encyclopedia Dramatica is for internet noobs. I have been an "internet gamer" for over 5 years, I do not need to use a website like that to know how to troll correctly; I would recommend that you as well as many other people on these forums use Encyclopedia Dramatica to educate yourselves on what trolling actually is.

A troll, most commonly encountered on the internet, is any person who purposely causes controversy in a web community (by posting offensive and crude comments or provides advice) and disrupts shit for his own amusement to prove how extremely corrupt our society is. The term troll is subjective. There are many characteristics of a troll. The retarded people of course don't want to hear how corrupt the society is getting, so they claim to not "feed the trolls" by ignoring them. Trolls have been referred to in the web community as, trollers, assholes, jerks, and scum of the earth douchebags. In reality, the real trolls are the people who ignore the so-called trolls who were only just trying to reveal the problems with society. An emotional reaction could have been avoided by the retarded if they were able to control it and find ways to solve the social issue.

Interesting idea. Also a clear reflection of what I see mecca often do. Perhaps trolling is not so "evil" after all. Especially if ones motives are in line with the above definition.

what trolls do is society-bashing...there are lots of things we don't like but you seem to forget that you're part of it and as such you're responsible and able to share your opinion in a constructive way.

Side note: Why is every post I make taken as a "troll"? Seriously, I rarely troll on these forums...

Attempt to put this back on topic: Using Armagetron Advanced as a tool in the classroom would probably be a better approach than having an Armagetron Advanced class...Maybe challenge a programming class (or a group within the class) to develop a new feature for the game, or use a team based game style to teach the students teamwork.

EDIT: Interesting reference from the Encyclopedia Dramitica, Liz, about "Old People". When you are over the age of 25, and still around here, I will remind you of it! You are not as far away from the age of 25 as you may think, only a few years away!
