My thoughts exactly! Of course, people need to understand two things here. Spook is the leader of the Notorious Emoticons! Although the team may be comprised of a majority of Ww members, it is NOT a Ww team. Therefore, Spook is truly the leader! Also, Spook is co-leader of the Wild West Fortress Division with Destiny. I abdicated my position and recommended him for it, because in many ways he is better suited to the position than I am, and I am way too busy with Game Servers, a little programming, and scripting to play a lot! So, for a lot of reasons, Spook is the appropriate person to list in this poll.

I thought he was referring to all clan leaders, wasn't sure why you are on the list because I thought compguy was the fortress leader of Ww (and Levi's responsible for ctf) - that didn't mean you were a bad leader.

Purely based on statistics (Team leader judged by most wins, implementng strategy, training), Clan leader judged by clan sustainability, recruitment, training, etc.)

Good point. I would agree that half of the players on the list should be axed out and replaced by past players. Two in particular that come to my mind are Wizzee (MBC) and SD (MBC, SP, XzL). However, I think Flex deserves to be in top 3 team leader on everybody's list. But I also think its one of those things where you have to be on the dude's team to fully understand it.

Seriously, from what I've seen so far word is the best captain. He turned pru, the team that got beaten by 3 players some ladles ago, into a team that stole a match from tx. Although the 'slashy and freako' experiment failed he got himself a great team.

Hey, that's a good point. Word has done a pretty amazing job starting a clan with a lighthearted, self-deprecating name (only n00bs need to be re-spawned), from a n00b server (Wild West CTF), and made them a well-respected group. And the fact that everyone picked on PRU (terribly) from the start makes this accomplishment more amazing. He never gave up and neither did his mates.

And unlike other, more popular clan/team leaders, Word almost never loses his cool, and I can't think of any serious drama associated with him or PRU. I never see PRU members act excessively rude, and they certainly don't gang up on people in servers or on forums. They have a lot of great players now and are competitive in several game-modes. My team has had some fun Sumo matches with them recently.

It's one thing to be a good player and start or join a good clan with other good players and do some good stuff. There is plenty of that going on here. But to start out a n00b and make a n00b clan that eventually becomes a good team over a year's time is something rare in Arma.

I voted for Pr3 because uNk is the least noisy team I know. He made some great videos, but he never spammed the forums as much as I did (and still do from time to time ). They play the game and they aren't bad.
uNk isn't a clan, but nevertheless its mates are more disciplined, helpful and self-autonomous than so many clans' members, which means everything can run on its own.

Maybe not a good criterium, but I think the way a team acts without its leader being present indicates his strength.

And Flex changed SP from absolute dog meat to arguably the most dominating and consistent fortress team to date. I respect word for what he has done with pru and they have a very nice clan, but we all know how inconsistent and frankly on the down swing Tx is, not THAT impressive. Flex and word are on entirely different levels.

Team Captain does not equal Team/Clan leader. Sometimes that person is the same, sometimes they are different. Just want to let everyone know that there is a difference because a lot of people are saying they are synonymous lol.

Yeah, beating TX isn't really an accomplishment anymore.

Regardless, Word is doing a good job with pRu and maybe if their members are bit more stable (they seem to have a different showup every ladle?) then they could come far, especially if their newest addition HaMar turns up.

Well put in your original post word; but as far as I can fell, Ari is the friendliest former clan leader along with being one of the best, so far as organizing the clan, training members, etc.
