Yeah I'm sure the votes will turn out rather simple anyway
One last potential issue is the current guideline for starting "If opponents don't turn up on time, they forfeit, unless again a team wishes to delay the start... though this causes problems for subsequent timing... " Is this staying the same? Needs to be a set time for consistency that a mod can easily enforce perhaps

i think it's ok if the GM has admin access in all ladle servers so he can change settings if necessary
from time to time something is wrong with the servers...(for example the brakes or the score limit) and he is more independent if one server is offline
(but as far as i know that's already standard in most ladle servers)

I also think that all admin commands should be broadcast to everyone playing, showing who did what. This would ensure that proper blame was placed if someone started abusing their powers.

Excellent idea. Transparency is key to long-term success of any system like this.

Aww, but that means we admins can't send each other secret messages via "/admin command_that_doesn't_exist" any more :( Anyway:

While we're at that, can we also include the compete Fortress settings (apart from the Ladle changes, of course)? So admins loading from none default settings (or such), simply to prevent errors or avoid inconstancies on servers.

I noticed this happen a few times. Due to server admins previously hosting a different game mode like CTF and then loading the Fortress settings, only to have cycle delay and such settings un-altered.

sinewav and I looked went though them a bit. They should be default settings + durkas. I used 0.2.8.3 for the server build to generate them. Take a look to make sure nothing else is messed up.

I would like to call attention to Ladle 32 falling on Easter. Will we be moving it back a week because I'm sure many people are going to be at church (especially on the west coast) or with their familys for the day.

I don't have a problem playing on Easter. I'm not religious and I don't have a family. The day is just as meaningless as the Super Bowl to me.

I am with Psyko on this one. I probably won't be available that whole weekend. Not because of religion, but because I won't be working on Easter so I'll be heading out of town for a long weekend. Sunday comes right in the middle of a great opportunity to get the **** out of El Paso.

Good call on moving Aprils's ladle. Not a good idea to have it on any holiday, especially such a big one.

should we have available(potential) clans for that ladle vote for the move or just assume that a lot of people wont be able to make it, thus moving it back a week?
