I honestly Love 1v1 forting

First random player defends first and then the other defends next round and vice versa from there.
It should be a one day kinda thing and i like the idea of randomize player vs player. It should be simple fort, first too 100pts(6pts zone takeover,2pt dump,4pt survive = a total of 12pts for round) 1 match.

for those who are saying "well most people are going to play it safe" this is were lets see how risky and good an attacker(defender) can get. This is whats going to separate the noobs from the champs.

Agreed with Vanhayes and Cody.

I honestly think theres a difference between playing it "safe" and boring your opponent to death. Just circeling the defence until the other person is so bored they start making mistakes, yeah that really sucks and you're a total lamer if you do that.. but attacking the defence in fortress is also about patience. Waiting for an opening and taking it when the chance is there. Just diving in and dying on the wall.. stupid as well. And I think if this tournament happens, the skilled people (who will undoubtely enter ;)) won't play it that safe. It shouldn't even be that much of an issue.

Okay, enough of the babbling.

Are there any people here who would want to help organizing? I would and will help, but I don't want to be the main organizer as I would suck [no experience whatsoever], so let me know.

I am currently setting up a forum for TheServerPharm, and would love to host a one on one tourney! I can easily accommodate 16-32 players if people are willing to use my NY and French servers. It could easily be resolved in one day. I would NOT be able to admin the tourney, so i need at least one volunteer to admin the tourney. Anyone game to be the tourney admin?

It might be a lot easier to gather signups in ways other than the wiki. But, if you want to do it that way cody, go for it. Most of the people in the fortress community would have no problem signing up on the wiki. I will gladly help and provide servers. I can currently provide servers in New York, Texas, and France. I am also making a forum for my servers to help manage things. I also have setup a resource repository server that we can put configs on, like the CT clan has done for flex's tournaments.

Due to lack of interest and plans for something else, I've decided to drop this. Of course someone else is allowed to pick it up.

Thankz.
