There are few reasons why there are no tons of vids on yt. To make good, dynamic video you have to be well prepared and organised. You can't pause the playback nor rewind it, and -especially with fortress- there's rarely only one place on the grid you can focus on. You can always improvise, and hope you'll be lucky to get all the best action with one try, but that never worked for me :(

With this software you can stop the video whenever you want, and you can choose the Window that should be recorded. Very good software, only 2 or 3 megabytes.

Hehe I meant debug recording playback :)

Pause key would be helpful, not as much as rewind and fast-forward during playback though :D

F2 is Pause, F3 is stop/continue. The .avi is played normally in winnamp. You can also play it in Vcl Media Player, Windows Media Player and and and.

Few months ago there was an idea to make Ladle "documentary", showing best parts of all matches and with players' commentary, feedback, etc. There are less teams in the tourney lately, so it would be easier to record all matches and do it. It will take lot of time (and work) though.

For recording....HyperCam is a good program to use but I recently found a program called CamStudio...which basically does the same thing as HyperCam but is smaller.

A great program that takes up little computer space, is free, and has the basic video editing is VirtualDub. This program is great for basic editing such as deleting frames and things of that nature.

For mac users: Snapz Pro X always worked wonderful for me, but my free trial died and now I have to pay for it. I refuse, tbh.
