clantag abuse

Actually, I would rename them, personally, to whatever there name is without the clantag
(e.x. if someone faked a pRu clantag and there name was .pRu.Joe and you noticed he was not on your clan roster, you rename him to plain Joe. Only what I would do.)

that was my intention when i started this topic some months ago - but i wanted to ask if its possible that the master servers do this automatically.
But as you can see, things didn't change. I'm still annoyed sometimes, but, in general, it's ok as it is.

Please understand something word, it would require a very painful effort to add the feature you want to the master server, and the dev's not only don't consider it a priority or concern, because of Armathentication, but even if the dev's did consider it a priority, they have WAY bigger stuff to fix first!

I'm glad this topic got bumped while we're discussing the pros and cons of clans.

Because, see, this topic is a good example of why a lot of us don't like clans. They keep asking for various centralized control mechanisms that we won't provide, and then yelling at us for not doing it.

Feels a lot like Bushie wanting to amend the US constitution to tell gay people they can't have families because they're so sinful.
