About your avatar commander....
Your avatar is the picture of a communist man. I don't know who, but he's communist, that's what I do know.
You're hungarian.
Didn't the hungarians hate the commies and had a major strike on the communist sovjet government back in '56? But which was very tough stopped by the hungarian army under control of Moskow?
So why oh why do you have a commie as your avatar?

Um, because he's hungary?Sabarai wrote:ok, then he was a commie, so why would a hungarian do that?
Have you ever asked why Rudeboy, an American, would have the same picture (only slightly modified) for his avatar? Just by taking a look, looks like Rudeboy's pure commie. (Or is he canadian? I forget, sorry)
Seriously, the answer may very well be the same as the answer to "Why did I pick the name 'lucifer'"?

Well for one my avatar is a pretty satirical look at communist heroes, and I myself am not a communist (more of a communitarian), But I see Che Guevara as a very noble figure despite certain actions that sour his record. He was a millitary genious, although a little overzealous when it came to the idealogy of worldwide communism and wrote some very insightful books.

Some of you might know that i'm a raving (and ranting lol) anti-commieThak wrote:Hey, not all communists were bad guys.

Thak is so totally right: not all persons in any ideology or religion are bad guys. In addition to this almost all believe that their beliefs actually are for the better for all (or the majority) of other people (just like anyone else usually do). Everyone --including absolutely everyone existing-- should realize that the border of evil is when oneself cannot see that what fits oneself doesn't neccesarily fit all or when one simply wants to kill anyone who disagree.
I'm not really fond of "poster boy" Che but he's far less worse than your average communist "hero". I'm a bit unsure as to how i feel about his pop-status: i guess most use him as sort of a posterboy for somewhat naive romanticism rather than as a representative of an ideology that killed at least an order of magnitude more people than the facists/nazis -- at least i hope they do. Oh and i think he would find your avatar cool and funny rudeboy - i think he'd like it.
Sabarai just like you will find communists in Russia you'll still find communists in all european countries: it's called denial (and it's not only by communists, there's plenty of facists in denial too, especially in germany, italy and spain).
Tank: Che might have been a friend of Fidel but Fidel was no friend of Che as Fidel froze him out and indirectly killed him (Che was too "ideological" for Fidel when they got down to business after the revolution as well as a therat and liability to Fidels "supremacy").
Fidel will die soon and hopefully Cuba will be free and democratic then (and we'll have no more lame jokes from Fidel about how they have the best educated whores in the world (unemployed welleducated people prostituing themselves to survive)).
IshAdmin as long as people are free to leave your commune at will nobody can complain.
Lucifer? Why did you choose your name? I think some of us are wondering

let's all think about this one: a person is more than his/her beliefs and politics
