Does anybody else have this problem? My working hypothesis right now, seeing his other difficulties, is that 2020's network is somehow borked.

2020: can you connect to other mumble servers?

Nothing done apart from the tests. Implementation is up for grabs. I'm still on the AI stuff, but that kind of has fallen asleep, too. I'll get back to it eventually, though.

BTW, Plus+ has been using the test server for quite some time with great success. We love it and prefer Mumble to all other apps we've tried (never used Ventrillo). We've never had to use permission though since we're usually the only one's on there - with the exception of Ladle 23, and we simply moved into another part of the tree.

Was my first thought, too, but his other post was too custom made for this forum to be a bot.

I've been debating about it as well.

His other post was "My armagetron advanced server crashed", and it was posted in "Creating a tutorial/promotional video".

He's a bot.

Or else he needs to come here and prove he's not.

Oh, right. His other post is a copy from here: http://osvaldojr.com/2009/08/01/tron-server-corruption/ , but the username seems to have no direct connection to the blog author. So yeah, bot.

Yeah, this feature does sound interesting, and useful for easy communication.

Is this intended to be used only for ladles and other team competitions or for random free for all play as well?

The plan would be to make it generally available; of course, someone has to supply the resources, so it will probably not be activated on every server.

Speaking of generally available, what happened to the Mumble test server that was up? Did you take it down Z-Man? I'm looking into having a server, but I don't know anything about this stuff. I get the feeling I'll be paying Gene to help me soon...

Oh, it's not in the autostart services of the machine. I'll restart it.
