Maybe all ladle servers can have a standardised motd with a few guidlines/rules or smth?
For example not everyone seems to know about /team say to spec chat when you're in spec

°°ps! I just updated the settings to version 2 now. However, I left DEDICATED_FPS out of it for server admins to decide what they want to set that value to.

Code: Select all

RINCLUDE ladle23-2.cfg(http://durka.ath.cx/resource/ladle/ladle23-2.cfg)
SERVER_NAME 0x7fff7fLadle 23 0xff7f7f(0x7f7fffPlayer 1's Server0xff7f7f)

What if all that stuff was put in Fortress.cfg and packaged along with Arma in the future? You know, and add some /teach files too? Speaking of /teach, does that require an auth level? I've wanted to use it a few times recently. I'll look into this later.

I've added my GID.

Also, what do you guys think of what I did over here?

Should I keep it like that, or should I just erase the bowl altogether from the ladle page?

P.S. There's a game before the opening round actually and that's between VcL and TX1. This game will be held in TX [NY] and will be at 6pm GMT.

P.P.S. You guys might wonder why the servers are all mixed up. Well, I made arranged the servers before I randomized the teams and I made it so that no team could win the Ladle without playing in at least 1 Euro and 1 US server...fair, right?

EDIT: Brackets were a lil messed up, look 4 posts below for the new ones.

Good thinking. However:
DDMJ wrote:[*]Team Captains can use 5 /admin commands: (SILENCE, START_NEW_MATCH, TEAM_NAME_1, TEAM_NAME_2, VOICE)
The commands for TEAM_NAME_X are borked.

It's because most of those players won't show up. And even if they do, I don't we shouldn't put a restriction on the number of subs (unless it becomes a problem of course, which it hasn't).

In what versions do they not work? I've never really heard of them not working.

I messed up on the secondary servers (forgot VcL was an American server). Here's are the updated and finalized bracket:

EDIT: FML, another team signed up, which makes 18, so DS will play Broken Silence at 18 GMT also, in Z-Man's server.

New and hopefully final bracket:

Ah, no, they work fine. But the config file reads

Code: Select all

ACCESS_LEVEL TEAM_NAME_1
and should read

Code: Select all

ACCESS_LEVEL TEAM_NAME_1 7
