Yeah, him and a bunch of his nutter flying buddies have ropes laced with mines hanging from the back of their planes.
As the planes fly more and more of this "mine rope" is released from the tail of the plane. The aim, obviously, is to avoid the others' mine ropes whist trying to tangle the other planes up in your own.
It's a particuarly dangerous game and Jay has lost many good friends playing it. Hence the reason for the sale of his plane.
Jay's not a bad guy, but his hunger for victory at all costs has forced him to quit "Air Tron" while he's ahead.

Dont forget: you can only move the plane right or left at 90 degree angles
