SIZE_FACTOR seems useless
I have a quick question. I'm screwing around with a LAN server, and I tried to use SIZE_FACTOR 10 in settings_custom.cfg (
), and it didn't work. SP_SIZE_FACTOR does work the way I want, though. Is this intended?

Re: SIZE_FACTOR seems useless
Yes, it is intended. The SP in SP_SIZE_FACTOR stands for “single player”, and settings with the SP_ prefix take effect when only one player is on the server. SIZE_FACTOR will be used when more than one player is on the server.

Ah.
So that's why SIZE_FACTOR is there!
Edit: Now that I think about it, wouldn't combining the two (or at least making one count as both if the other isn't there) make more sense than what we currently have?

Not really. What if your server was intended for large 16 player battles, but in SP mode there's only you and 3 AIs. You wouldn't want to be roaming around that same humongous grid would ya?Generic_Guy wrote:Edit: Now that I think about it, wouldn't combining the two (or at least making one count as both if the other isn't there) make more sense than what we currently have?
