tron 2.0 lightcycles

Post by Terra »

hey, first post here so if it's in a wrong place i apologise.

i've just seen the trailer for tron 2.0 and have seen it has new funky light cycles in. the wiki page for the film has a picture so i was wondering if anyone here could make/has made an in-game model of the new light cycle for use in armagetron?

here is the pic:

cheers

Hmm, I haven't seen that particular picture yet. How on earth are you supposed to sit on that when it goes lightspeed without... causing a major conflict between the rear wheel and your rear end? Plus, it doesn't look lightcycly with all those pipes and text AND EXHAUSTS.

if you compare this picture with the lightcycle everyone can see when he watches the trailer you should be able to see that this is a completely different cycle.

to get the new cycle for armagetron in less then half an hour go to Edd Keefe's site, download the model and convert it to an ase file.
If i'd be interested in playing with the new cycles i'd have done that already but I didn't figure out how to make a compatible texture with c4d.

Duh. It's a smokecycle. It's meant to show smokers just how disgusting they are by burning them up, among other things. The pipes and exhausts symbolize smoke, so other players know there's no reason to save the rider.
