Re: keyboard settings
im cunfused at how some people use keys that arnt comfertably close to eachother, it seems like you would have to position your fingers awkwardly to play. anyways, my setup.....
I run a double setup, triples kill df :]

edit: thnx for this. actually worked better than...i think when i was first messing around a few months ago i was just using the default controls and was a mess - still too used to Tron 2.0 LCs maybe. this time got up to 5 enemies on the AI team before they started killing me again.

Re: keyboard settings
ew. worst lightcycle game ever... and I've played them all.kadmos13 wrote:...still too used to Tron 2.0 LCs maybe.
Re: keyboard settings
ha. well until last year it was the only one i knew of other than the original arcade. but then im not a gamer. at all. just been a Tron fan forever and had a copy of 2.0 before i even had a machine good enough to run it on - i used to take it to my friend's place to play. on my own i only found flTron and Cycles3D and didnt really care. found out about Armagetron a few months ago through the tron-sector forum.
Re: keyboard settings
Me too. I just played it for the first time last year and had to use the lowest detail settings...and eventually had to use cheats because my frame-rate was so low. I just wanted to finish the stupid thing.kadmos13 wrote:..and had a copy of 2.0 before i even had a machine good enough to run it on
Tron-Sector FTW. I've played all the games on that site that run on windows. On the web there were a few flash/shockwave lightcycle games around before flTron. I think swTron was one. I seem to remember it being interesting.kadmos13 wrote:...found out about Armagetron a few months ago through the tron-sector forum.
See you on the grid.

Ok, but why did I add this signature? I was like 15 and thought I was smart? What a brat.

Re: keyboard settings
Could have swore I posted in this topic a few years back, maybe it was a similar one, anyways I use
left, right and down arrow keys for left right and brake
W,E,R for left, forward, and right glances (0.3 glances, makes sense not to have a backward glance)
and the default z, and x for when double binding is needed for more then 4 axes or ctf, anything where the turn delay is small.

You've gone too far, turn back!
