the usual thing is to book a hotel or organise somwhere to stay
well what about crashing at a fellow arma players home
hehe yea i know it sounds mad but when you think about it
its so easy to do,,everything could be organised with a few emails
why pay travel agents and holiday companys
when u can get to meet your fellow arma players personally

there,s a few things u have to have in place
1 owning your own home is a good start
2 having a room or sofabed prepaired
3 being prepaired to have fun----yes fun ,,heh
4 realising that poeple power builds real communitys
(and takes the power away from companys and governments
5 get some extra shopping in
6 i have everything in place

so come and crash at rads place

and lets show the world how its done

Ok radian..this is never gonna happen..but if somehow i could afford to fly my wife, 14yo son, and 12yo daughter to the UK, can we stay at your place? For say one night?

iv,e been doing this for years
some from the motorbike community
but most from the musical community
im,e going to ireland in the summer,,staying with a sax player and her husband
its kind of like a wider group of friends and it works really well
its a lot less formal-and much more fun
my house has three bedrooms -but some like to bring a tent
and pitch up in the garden-its fine with me-there,s no restrictions
we treat eachothers homes with the same respect we treat our own
try it out for yourselfs-with some friends-its the best experience

its great when u got freinds in other countries

the london meet up is a great idea
there are plenty of uk arma players that could make the trip to london
and while we are sitting in a nice pub chatting about AA,why we play ,what its about,gameplay teams,clans ,and all that ,,it would be easy to video for half an hour and would make a good promo for the game - with a bit of editing and music / some vid of the game.
