Delete the frommaster.srv in your Application Data\Armagetron\var folder.

Did this work for you after trying again in 0.2.8? Let us know if not

edit: Just saw in the other thread, make sure you are trying in 0.2.8 rather than the 0.3 build

for those who are interested...i found this old built of the 0.3 on my hard disk, according to the date if has been modified the last time, it must be from jan/feb 2008

'armagetronad-0.3.0.win32.exe'

your fix with deleting the frommaster file worked with it

Ah, ok, your build is older than the one it has been reported in, that means the fix isn't included, of course

Don't we have 0.3.1_alpha builds by now with the fix? I have the dim feeling I wanted to make some...
