Lets talk about noobs

Hallo,

ich habe ein Anliegen. Es geht darum, dass auf diversen Servern ständig Leute grundlos gekickt werden. Es ist wahrscheinlich von manchen Spielern zuviel verlangt ein wenig Verständnis für Anfänger aufzubringen. Dabei wird oft vergessen, das diese Personen selbst mal Anfänger waren. Man sollte sich im klaren sein, dass in der allgemeinen Relation mehr Aktiver Server bestehen als reguläre Spieler im Netz sind und Armagetron nicht das beliebteste Spiel der Gesellschaft ist. Grob gesagt, ohne Noobs kein Armagetron.

Desshalb bitte ich euch -> nehmt euch ein bisschen zusammen und investiert ein wenig Zeit!

Vielleicht hat ja jemand eine Idee wie diesem Problem ganz Simpel Abhilfe geschaffen wird!

Hello,

I have a concern. It is all about, that on several servers people baseless get kicked. It is probably too much demanded that some players show a little understanding for beginners. It is often forgotten that these people even were beginners, too. You should be aware that in the general relation more active server exist as regular players in the network and armagetron is not the most popular game of the society. Roughly speaking, without Noobs no armagetron.

Please remember -> join together and invested a little time!

Perhaps someone has an idea how to resolve this problem!

I don't really see any way to solve this, other than completely stopping the kick vote. But this would stop players who are actually bad from being kicked. (by bad I mean idiot, annoying, tkers, etc.)

One way to partially stop this would be to have more mods, but only ones that are completely trusted. They could stop bad kick votes, and silence/kick idiots.

Ich bin ganz deiner Meinung. Die Votings abzuschaffen wäre ein Willkommensgruß für Bots und Idioten.

Ich spreche dieses Thema an weil ich heute mindestens 15 unnötige Votings miterlebt habe und es als Außenstehender fast unmöglich empfinde Eingriffe in falsch geäußerte Meinungen durchzuführen. Diese 15 Personen werden es sich zweimal überlegen den Server zu Rejoinen bzw. das Spiel ein zweites mal zu starten.

I couldn't agree with you more. Cancel the votings would be a welcome for bots and idiots.

I react because, I relived at least 15 voteings today and it is impossible as a foreigner to change the opinion of the others. These 15 people will think twice to join the server or the game again.

if we could kick all the noobs to another fortress server and just let them play there. Not even enforce grind or anything. They will learn why they need to grind and come back capable.

Das ist eine sehr gute Idee. Ich nehme als Beispiel einen meiner Lieblingsserver "Crazy Tronners Wild Fortress" -> dann müsste man einen Clone dieses Servers erstellen und statt einem Kick einen Verweis auf diesen server ermöglichen. Zusätzlich wäre es auch noch empfehlenswert Kurzanleitungen zum Grinden Splitten etc. anzubieten nach jeder Runde eine Nachricht mit Tips und Tricks einblenden.

Da wäre nur noch ein Problem -> wer stellt den Server zur Verfügung?

This is a very good idea. I take as an example one of my favorite servers "Crazy Tronners Wild Fortress" - then there must be a clone of this server, and instead of a kick, a reference to these server. Additional, it would still help to show short instructions for splitting, grinding, etc. after each round as a message with tips and tricks.

There is only one problem -> who provide the server?
