How can non-double binders beat double binders?

Anything about how you get those awesome core-dumps, or why you don't get them...

i see myself single binding more in fortress, while double binding in sumo or more specifically i see myself double binding when i either need to survive in a closed area or need to stay in a dense area for a lotted amount of time, other wise i'm single binding alot of my 1v1s and sweeps in fort, although, there are times i cant make a turn thats any less then wasting no space i will use double binds otherwise i use double binding pretty liberally..

p.s. i have never tried triple binding and see no reason to try it, because not only does it make me use more fingers for something i can already do with less confusion but also theres no reason to try as i can do everything a triple binder can with doubles/or singles if my fingers are moving fast enough.

Single binding gets my fingers into a rhythm and flow and increases my accuracy and turning abilities (tight turns, etc) immensely. When I double bind (in close, tight spaces), I find that my fingers get lazy and I can make dumb mistakes from the monotonous finger strokes.

I use this key layout:

I and E both turn right.
J and F both turn left.
O for rear-view mirror ^^

It's ergonomic so you can switch from single binding to double binding and vice versa, instead of confining yourself to just single binding... why not take the best of both?
