Auth + Server IP

On my server, "The Fight Arena", the logins for local users on the authentication suddenly stopped working, just after the server was migrated. Now whenever someone with a local account tries to log in, it gives an error that says the server ip is a mismatch, and it's attempting to "pharm", so... some help is badly needed....

Could you provide a little more info? Like, the exact line that appears in log?

I guess you're on the same LAN as it, as it's telling you. Do other users(from exterior) have the same problem?

actually, i'm an outside user. definitely not on the same LAN. <-- that's the strange part.

I've had the same problem when the server was started with TALK_TO_MASTER 0, is that your case perhaps?

Yes, it will need either to have TALK_TO_MASTER on, either to have it's IP told by SERVER_IP

What I think the problem is is that when the server was migrated to a new server, with the same internal IP, but different external IP, something got screwy...
BTW, talk to master is at 1 by default.

The *.*.*.* means it does not know it.

oh. ya, that would explain it... I'll just set server_ip to it's IP then...

fixed it. reinstalled the server and re-put in the config files. boom. resolved.

We are still experiencing this problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the server again. I have deleted all directories from the program files to the doc and setting apps and we are still having issues with this. The server sits on a static ip so it never changes

We have changed the following and are still having issues connecting

server_ip 74.92.240.101

trust_server 1

talk_to_master 1

We have tried to set the server_ip to our internal ip of 192.168.x.x and have changed it to even a 127.0.0.1. I'm grasping at straws pretty much but I have no clue why there as been such a problem with this. The only thing I can assume is that the auth setting config isnt correct. So any/all thoughts on how this can be fixed would be greatly appreciated. Standard port for Tron has been open so it just doesn't make sense to me. Anywho, please respond when you get a chance. Thanks

Yeah that's what I originally meant. I'm sorry. I was really bumming towards the later hours last night. Sorta was in a rush cause I had to get up @ 5 this morning for work
