Going to the end of threads on opening

i like how on the right side of the page, there is the last posted topic, and when you click it it takes you to the end of the thread. that is good. but when there is more than one new topic/post in a forum category, you must click the category and click that thread, which brings you to the beginning of the post. could you change it so that it would go to the end?
