Yeah i'm not sure how many tr is gonna bring, but if you show up at irc 15-30 minutes before (~7pm UTC/GMT) we can see what we can do.

Since the TR server is down we can play at Crazy Tronners Ladle Server 2. If everything is correct I got me some sweet mod powers over there.

Great idea Lacka.

If possible I would like to join one of the open teams. I know that the teams are set, but if one of them is looking for an extra player, Im abailable.

I hope someone replies, or contacts me via e-mail

my mail adress is: sander-smit@live.nl

Hey olive, we've got 8 players signed up, and there's already some talk with potential reserves, so I don't think we need any more people for this ladle. Unless you want to be a reserve reserve.. ;)

To those who are signed up:

Practice match against wW at their wild west server at 7.30 pm GMT this sunday, 5th of october

Also: who's able to play a practice match during the weekdays next week and on what days? I was thinking of having a practice match against Matado Core.

W33D is playing for 1200's team and Light is in the squad for Wild West so we have no reserves. Olive, you can be a reserve for our team if you like but this means that you only get to play if one or our team members can not play. You might as well do this because there is a fair chance that we won't have a full team in our practice matches at least, so it is likely that you will get a game at some point.

Phantom and Ratchet are from the USA so midweek matches might be a bit tricky. However, we could fill in with reserves and/or random people. I think if we do have practice matches they should be 8v8 as the ladle will be, not like our last match.

Tnx for the offer monkey, but i am afraid i need specific time and date for when the practice match is going to be because im in a tight scedule the coming 2 weeks. School, work and family life is all messed up due to some unpredictable events. So I 'm not sure if i can play, but i hope i can.

I don't know whether or not we will have all of our eight players for that though.

Phantom, it would be useful if you add your location and your country flag by selecting "Profile" at the top of the page.

Well.. that's the problem, there is no room left for anymore teams. So yeah, like I said to olive: you can be a reserve, but that means you will have to be available to play and you might not play at all. Same goes for Paralyzed

hmm,,that is a problem ,,but maybe a problem that needent have been there if more slots had been made available for open teams,,a lot of good players who do not belong to a clan,,are not playing in the ladle because of this oversight ?? i hope more open team slots are available for future competisions

Actually, Matado Core is not a clan, nor are any of it's members in a clan. The team was formed rather spontaneously.

It's quite amazing that this many people want to play IMO. Maybe there will be a renewed interest in Fortress? Either way, "if you snooze, you loose." Or, "the early bird gets the worm." Pick and anecdote. Again, if you really want to play, just hang out before the Ladle starts. I bet a slot will open up for you. Good luck.

you may want to compare Durka's post date :
http://forums.armagetronad.net/viewtopi ... sc&start=0
with your post: almost 1 month delay...
If you are intersted to competitions you'll need to pay more attention.
Also lacka's open team announcement have been posted very early.
Btw 3/8 team slots are not clan, and at least a half slots have been free for weeks, that I was worried that there may have been teams without an opponent in quarter finals.
Nothing would've deny you to sign up an empty team on the challenge board, and then find people to fill it. In fact that's how lacka's, 1200's and my team have been made.
Ladle is FREE, so it's fair that open/clan team have the same right to sign up.
A rule like "4 slots for clan teams, 4 slots for non clan teams" would just be unfair, btw I really doubt there could be an organized 4th team atm

ps: A lot of good players that don't belong to a clan are not playing because they think that competitions are not fun (I've asked around a lot), but when ladle is next the door, they magically change idea asking "may I play?" "any free slot for me?" but then it's too late...
