Actually it's nothing like that, unless you're looking at the raw PNG data in a hex editor.

Ratchet is somewhat close: rivers = traces.

And sinewav, this isn't like the last one. Still somewhat mathematical (where did our mathematicians go?), but nothing like a bitmap of prime numbers mapped on a Hilbert curve. In fact it's quite intuitive. If I drew it over the input you'd notice immediately.
