How do I "Dig"
How do I "Dig"
I've looked through the WIKI, and Google, Could someone tell me how to, Dig?
Here is a good starting point on how to dig.
In armagetron, digging means to ride very close to a wall, making it very hard to get in between...
To keep the game fun, you should under no circumstances "dig".
If however, you really want to dig, I suggest you learn your rubber. Try looking at the rubber meter on bottom left of your screen. The closer you get to the maximum, teh 'better' you have 'dug'..

/me agrees with misery
anyways, it depends on the game mode. Games with close to none or no rubber, you should try to grind as little as possible. When it gets up to about 2, just get used to that rubber level, and try to get as close to dying as possible, without dying. Then when you get to about 10 or above, there are other styles of digging.

Thanks for the feedback!
I'm allowed to have my opinion aren't I...? And i'm not actually saying one shouldn't use the rubber to defeat one's opponent... But, the term "dig" widely evolved inside the DDL community, where digging has completely taken over the essence of the game. And I disagree with that. It feels a little narrow minded to me, to gain a lot of speed, trap another player into a large box, and hit several deep grinds onto the walls of the way out (possibly with a few double turns back and forth to give it the extra digging sensation).
Well. It's not my game, anyways.
You're allowed an opinion, and i'm allowed to facepalm it.noob13 wrote:
