High Rubber Tilt

Post by ~*PsYkO*~ »

Phew..you have no idea how long I've been planning this. For sake of time I don't really need to explain this on this forum cuz everyone knows what the ladle is. It is basically the ladle for high rubber players. The information and sign ups are http://wiki.armagetronad.net/index.php? ... ubber_Tilt

It would mean a lot to me if you at least read it over and gave suggestions, I already got a media crew out and everything to promote it :)

Good initiative. I'm not sure if every high rubber server is exactly the same, but I don't see anything about which settings are to be used. Maybe the admins know which settings to use, but it's good if the participants know what to expect.

And I don't really see why you had to change all the names, it makes things a bit more complicated for people who are used to the ladle-way of naming things (feedback -> back talk, results -> outcome, challengeboard -> assembly).

I'm working on it, I'm awaiting the exact settings that Manta uses for SpeederS server and then also the ones for H or iZm server. I will then take both of them and average a lot of stuff on them. The reason: There are two types of high rubber servers: High acceleration (speeders and ID) and low acceleration (DF servers: Humility & Honor and .iZm) I also want all the servers to be identical but I also want them to reflect the overall High Rubber gameplay. Once I do this probably by Wednesday then I will PM all of the admins what they have to do. This is the Pilot one, so hopefully it will work out fine.

I actually really wanted to use different words. Just like it's called the High Rubber Tilt instead of High Rubber Ladle. I don't think it would be that big of a hindrance for people formerly knowing of the Ladle setup (not many people signed up right now for the Tilt play in the Ladle) they are smart enough :)

This time i'm writing about the highrubber tilt, well i'm not organizing this tourney, but i was asked to post it on the forums for some strange reasons lol.

however, the first "Tilt" will take place on Sunday, September 9, 2007 from 7:00-10:00 pm EST.

Remember EST is UTC-5, so it's at 2-5 pm GMT, don't sign up if you cannot play at this time.

Here is the link to the High Rubber TILT Wiki and you can sign up Here. NOTE: Read the rules on the first link, before you start signing up, have fun!
