Graphical problems playing 0.3 with vista

I just installed 0.3 under vista and started the game, everything worked fine. But what does not work fine is the cockpit. When I use the standard cockpit, it looks as it's supposed to look, but I tried to use skypit and abyss. Well, abyss doesnt show up at all and with skypit I get a white bar ove the screen. Maybe somebody has an idea what to do.

Other than the usual(*), no.

*: Get the latest graphic card drivers. Get them from the vendor directly, not from Microsoft. <overkill>If that fails, get a real OS</overkill>.

exactly what i was thinking. but based on the images it is definitely not microsofts drivers. so maybe there is an update from the manufacture. and like z-man said <overkill>If that fails, get a real OS</overkill>

same problems with the 0.0.1 version, however 0.0.2 works fine

A GeForce 7650 GS. I've installed the latest driver from the nvidia site, but still the same problem. I guess I've to live with that.

thats a pretty modern card. it should run arma fine. good luck

Heh, it does. As I said, everything works fine besides the cockpits. But I can play with the default one.

did you try the same cockpit file when you used XP? maybe it is the cockpit file

Due to the fact that I made the cockpit file, yes I used it for the last months under XP without any problems. Last week I got a new PC with Vista and... well, you know the rest.
