I think it save all of you a lot of time answering the same questions if someone releases binaries (.dmg .exe etc) with groundpig's styball patch applied to it.
What do you think?[/u]

I've received complains recently that my post where a) too long and b) could use teasers to create interest. So to this a) there is a one line resume at the end b) here are the teasers:
"...a driving force that move mountains."
"If you feel backed in corner right about now..."
"...worth the "learning" scout badge many times over"
Now your featured presentation:
New England:
Seeing the number of request for help patching the code to enable the STY mode in the last few weeks, I'd have to agree with you that it would be a save of time for us too ;). How many post on how many threads!
The problem with open source project and all the work associated is that it requires people to dedicate their free time onto tasks. It is extremely difficult to ask someone to do something for you, impossible to force them. The best motivation seems to be having an itch to scratch. Recognizing that something is important is still quite low motivation. But that something _IS_ important for _YOU_, _THAT_ is a driving force that move mountains.
I just saw that you made a map using zones v2, and as it is, I'm basically the only person in the world that has a working client and server able to understand this format, it means you had to read that not-too-user-friendly-and-quite-long document, grasp it all to a level that you could write down your ideas in the proposed format without being able to test it anywhere. I think it is worth the "learning" scout badge many times over.
If you feel backed in corner right about now, with the walls of desire and capacity of learning behind you, I'm not much more that the person made you look around. You moved yourself there quite gracefully with your ambitions and your passion to contribute ;)
I'll let you decide what to do next!

The one line resume:
New England, i think the best answer is that you attempt to provide a patched server for your OS.
edit: Remove the named reference, as said person was being sarcastic at the moment when the comment was made. The fault is mine for misreading it.
