Sure they can have a chance, but as you can see in the differences in results they won't stand a chance. And yes, they beat the men's record of the 30's, but aren't the men way faster than the 30's record now? That's all new technologies (Better shoes, lighter outfit, better food..) and new training methods.
Ask a sportswoman what she would like, get the gold in a women's competition or 15th in men's..?
Here's for a nice biological experiment: Raise a twin brother and sister EXACTLY the same, and give them a sports education. Let them compete when they're ADULTS and you will see that the man will be faster and stronger than the female.
Tennis players Venus Williams and Serena Williams have been raised to play tennis by their dad since they were 4 years old. The fastest serve Venus ever made had a speed of 127.4 mph. Very fast so to say. But the fastest recorded serve for men is 149 mph. These girls have been educated to play tennis, nothing more nothing less. They have been serving balls (no jokes please) since they were 4 years old, and still a man can serve harder than they can. Doesn't this say something? In males tennis a service of 127.4 mph is a respectable service, but easily countered, while MOST (no, not all, but a lot) of women can't hit the ball back.(
