Your Highnesses,
I just graduated to "Advanced" Armagetron, having realised I was playing the stone-age version, and my brain is reeling with queries:
1) On the old "Armagetron", I was happily playing against 10+ bots at a time (obviously no comparison with real people), and could grind up against/in/through pretty much anything just by dabbing the brake as I turned. I was skimming through traps and kicking ass and was happy as Larry.
On this version, I am like Stephen Hawking trying to drive a ten-ton truck.
What happened? Is the braking system totally different? How do I reliably get close enough to a trail or wall to seal it? What's the key to getting that sweet, sweet sparky action back?
2) Double-binding. I have tried this, and all I get is a huge CLICK-CLOCK U-turn with a massive gap in it. I am on a stinky Powerbook. Is it yet *another* example of Macs laming out all over the shop, or is there something that needs doing other than just putting both keys in the setup, and hitting the buggers at the same time?
Your great bounty would be gratefully received.
*doffs hat*
