I have decided to put my name on hold till the general level of behavior comes up a bit. Feel free to bash away at me for this, but i think LiMEtte was rite. I give up, after getting on 'goshdarn earlier today and actually listening to people, the vast majority of the chatter is derogitory, demeaning, and just plain hurtful in nature. The few of you who love the game and help to build other players, i commend you. the rest........well..............as you wish.

Hmm... password protected server... pwd issued over secure channels, ie pm, aim, icq, msn, irc, etc. That would let only us, the nice happy players play-on. As soon as one of has freetime, I'm sure that this will become a much higher priority.

OH....almost forgot......Im gonna keep an eye on the forum, and the servers. I may pop in for a tournament every now and then, but im out again when the spammin starts.

really sad to see you go (even if temp) seekr, although I agree the talk gets to me to sometimes too, you are an excellent player and good person and I have enjoyed our games together..

Tank and I are in ongoing discussions about this. We have agreed that firewalls are a good solution. Players provide their IP Addresses to us. Then we edit the firewall configuration and let those players access the servers.

Btw, the discussion Tank and I had came up because of the tournaments and keeping non-tournament players out, not because of this unfortunate matter.

So, in other words, you may not have to wait until Christmas.

Just do what I did the other day when Smash drove me absolutely FREAKING CRAZY with all that "dude" talk. Go into the preferences and turn off the display of text messages. It isn't nearly as fun to play without chatting, but it definitely cuts the crap.

I was so pissed that day. Ruined the whole camaraderie aspect of the game.

its all about when you play, i dont hear much of that because alot of players oare on teh east coast and if i play at 10 or 11 thats 12 or 1 am their time, cuts down on the dickhead teenagers
