weird setup...
I have recently reconfigured my computer, and therfor i had to reinstall armagetron, but when i do, it is imposible to set it up so that it runs the way it is suposed to.
When i install it and start, it pops up whit this language thing, i go on, and it tells me that "default settings" have been loaded.
I have of course tryed to set it up manually, but either i have to play whit a crappy look whit 25-30 GPS, or a little better look with a really crappy 4 FPS, and i am used to have 70+ FPS...
Please help me, i dont know what to do if i canot play armagetron...
I have tryed with 2.6 too, but it does the same thing.

Ok, here it comes:
CPU: P4 2.4 Ghz
Motherboard: ASUS PT800-X (i think)
GPU: RADEON 9550, 256MB
By the way....
I have discovered something odd. When i look at the setting, i discovered that windows somehow have configured my computer whit 2 CPUs, and there is something with a "ACPI Multiprocessor PC", and i can tell you all a way that my computer only have one cpu.
Maybee its nothing, but i think its pretty odd.
I hope that someone can explain all my troubles...

Windows XP, I presume? the reason it's telling you you have two processors is because you do. You have two virtual processors. That's how Windows supports hyperthreading in your processor. Linux uses an SMP kernel to do the same thing, iirc.ZACARIAZ wrote:Ok, here it comes:

I suggest you re-update your drivers. Have you tried any other 3d accelerated games? If not, try some of the others and see how they do. If it's a driver problem, all 3d-accelerated games should be affected.
