It´s like finding easter eggs.
A little hint: The mistake ain´t in the "new" version.

If you really want this to be a wallpaper then make it a little bigger.
Something like that:

Code: Select all

$ dd if=/dev/zero of=file0 count=10000
$ gzip < file0 > file1
$ gzip < file1 > file2
$ ls -l file?
:)

It was probably .DS_Store.

Yeah, that would have been it. And what is that code, is it the code for zipping?!?

By the way, nice new avatar man.

Code: Select all

$ dd if=/dev/zero of=file0 count=10000
Copies 10000 blocks from /dev/zero to file0. /dev/zero is eternal zeroness and file0 is to become the output file. On my system the result is a 5120000-byte file filled with zeros.

Code: Select all

$ gzip < file0 > file1
gzips file0 and writes to file1.

Code: Select all

$ gzip < file1 > file2
gzips that and writes to file2.

Code: Select all

$ ls -l file?
Lists the resulting three files with their sizes, to show that a compressed compressed file can be significantly smaller. Because both gzip and PNG use the same compression and PNG mostly leaves the zstream alone PNG can also benefit from additional compression.

But it's really just nitpicking.

Ok Durka, by the way, you had an imposter in DDL, he called himself durka, but he was not logged in.

Why must he be logged in to be the "real" Durka?

And Durka, the winner's wallpaper was horrible.
2nd place stole our bike!
3rd place is the only decent one there, that one I like - it's been posted before but your link doesn't work.

I didn't like Levi's as much as Luzi's, yet I thought Pr3's had a nice touch to it. I kinda like the crazyness :P.

Link fixed :D.
