zapple you seem to have missed the fact that armagetron is a multi-player competitive light cycle game for people to play against others to win

they dont want to enter a server and see a bunch of assholes ripping the grid and making everyone explode that isnt what the game was created for

you should be able to understand why people get pissed off with it and by posting here maybe the game admins will ban these abusers

why dont you and your ramen buddys go write your own game and crash that ?

Looks like it was Focus, specifically. He uses a macro program. I watched him on Decompyler's server closely (coming in and out of spectator mode, it was great, people thought I was getting dropped ). He's found a way to go through walls, and he's found a way to leave holes in walls behind him.

Zerox is starting to do some of this shit too, which saddens me because I actually enjoy playing against him.

In any case, for Focus-free servers, Breakfasts of Champions and in Hell have both banned Focus. I believe I posted his IP address elsewhere, and all the server admins I know about have been brought into the game admin only forum, where I believe it is posted. (Actually, I know it's there)

im assuming that what he does causes major freeze on all clients so that when the client finally re-syncs your already dead ka-boom

So what would it loko like if a rabid Armagetron player went in and shot up his school? I think he'd be fairly benign, to rtell you the truth. He'd just go around building walls wherever he walked and laughing everytime someone bumped into one....
