loved gattaca... very classy, elagant, intelligent SF movie. my rumanian friend tells me the original solyaris is very good, too (russian version, not the george clooney version)

for my handle i got tired of using aliases some years back and just started using my real name. hasn't come back to burn me yet, but we'll see...

I usually play at 11 pm here thats about 1 or 2 am there so you probly wont catch me often. i also couldnt play at all for about a week

interesting bits of history here, I used to play SFA and SC in Kali a lot and was part of a Klingon Task Force (clan). My name was "Tentay" which eventually shortened to "ten", I chose "locutus" because a very good player who I aspired to beat at all costs (sound familiar commie?) had the name "Lord Locutus". He was and still is a good friend. I stole his idea....but I may change back to ten eventually, especially if i can install this dsl kit rite.

ok ok i am now going to fully explain what a rudeboy is.

first lets start with rude, in jamaica the word rude is used to describe someone who is wild or unruly. MY avatar displays the classic garb of a rudeboy. many jamaicans are poor and to attempt to show some sort of stature they wore nice suits and hats to impress their bosses. Rudeboys were classicalsy portrayed as gang members and thugs, this has been true. in more recent times rudeboys can be anyone who follows the genre of ska. Ska based rudeboys became popular during the british second wave in teh 60s and 70s they chose to adopt the style of the jamaican working class and thus the fedora wearing skanker. Most rudeboys these days dont wear that (me for example) many have adopted a more punk based dress due to the tie of 3rd wave ska ( aquabats, mighty mighty bosstones, rancid, choking victim) to punk.

whew that was long. if anyone wants to know about skinheads(not the nazi kind) i can explain taht too.

I never new that this guy named Speedracer had his own cartoon untill someone told me on the game. I just started playing and I had to think of a quick name for myself. Speedracer seemed to fit the theme so I went with it. I have thought of several other changes but I can't seem to make them stick:
Earwigg
5933DR^{3R
SR Survivor (and other SR names)

I still use these every now and then but I suppose I will always be the real Speedracer.

BTW, can someone possibly assist me with getting an avatar...

One day awhile back I needed a good game name, I wanted one that I could alaways use no matter what game and one that was unique. Seleucus was a name that I remembered from history. Alexander the great died at a young age and thus his empire was divided up amongst his generals, Seleucus, Lysimachus, Ptolemy, and Cassander. Of those names Seleucus was the only one I liked so I decided that it would always be my game name, so if you see a Seleucus then it is most likely me. (Not a common name)
