Beginner's problem with setting up sources on Win32

Post by p4 »

I got MinGw, Python and Code::Blocks installed.
I dloaded sources of winlibs and armagetronad 0.2.8.2 from sf dload page and unpacked it to d:\aa\ do i got d:\aa\armagetronad and d:\aa\winlibs. add some libraries by wiki page.
now i'd like to compile dediacted version of arma, so i opened Armagetron.workspace from d:\aa\armagertonad\, set target to windows dedicated adn tried to build. the build log says "Dedicated - Dedicated - Win32 Release" uses an invalid compiler. Skipping... Nothing to be done.
i've installed 1st time this code::blocks and dunno what to do. i just want to change some source and compile it. can you help me step by step joda.bot or anyone else who know how to play with code::blocks and arma src?
also i don't understand how to use svn (Tartoise) and how to aplly a path (diff).

My wife has the big computer today, so I can't look up how to use Tortoise or patch in Windows right now. But I'm pretty sure your installation of code::blocks is faulty. Which did you pick? I'm still using the last 1.0 release candidate, and I've picked the installation that already came with mingw. Since I guess I'm the last one touching the project files, this should work for you, too.
