Please attach the user_3_0.cfg file this time. It should be right next to the user.cfg file you gave last time. Since you got a little further, the file should contain more information now. A strange possibility may be that Armagetron is using the onboard Intel chip instead of the TNT now. Be sure to try to exit the game with SHIFT-Esc, don't kill it with the task manager unless you have to.

Something to try: when you get the black screen, press f. This should switch to windowed mode.

That the driver does not want to install is strange, the TNT2 is explicitly listed as supported this time. And yes the driver Lucifer found would be newer than the one that is installed.

Here is the 3.0 file.
Is that NVidia that Lucifer linked to free?

Yes, sure. The driver is free. You mean you didn't download it yet? If so, do it now :)

Nope, still no OpenGL information in that user_3_0.cfg. Very odd.

Did you try pressing f?

Yup, I have.
Would already having a version of NVidia affect it in any way? I'm gonna un-install that.

Glad to be of service. Was it uninstalling the previous driver that did the trick? For the next guy with the same problem, you know :)
