Server lists
Server lists
I noticed that there's a page on the main page supposedly for the servers... is there a chance that that page will be up again, ever?

I haven't found out a way to run it on SF yet, so for now, just use one of the alternates, I'm running the original code on http://servers.armagetronad.net, but there are a couple others floating around like http://beta.armagetronad.net/serverlist.php and I think wrtl has one as well.

The IE- incompatible and not so user-friendly (but useful if you want to make your own page) XML feel, nemo's script that parses my feed, and the servers page on armagetron.co.uk that uses AJAX to parse my feed?

Yea that's probably what I'm giong to use (the XML feed)wrtlprnft wrote:The IE- incompatible and not so user-friendly (but useful if you want to make your own page) XML feel, nemo's script that parses my feed, and the servers page on armagetron.co.uk that uses AJAX to parse my feed?
I'm looking to make an widget, actually (an Opera widget... only opera supports them, but they're looking to get standardized and don't use anything that no one else couldn't read, just xml, html, javascript and css in a zip file)
I'm not completely sure what kind of functionality i'm going to put into it, the things i can think of right now is the ability to see what a server is up to and a player-name search.
Any suggestions?

Umm, a suggestion as I read something about parsing XML in javascript:
Use XMKHttpRequest
Also have a look at the javascript used by armagetron.co.uk's server list
