Rim color console command

Post by ZACARIAZ »

To start of:
Due to a very crappy computer i play with every setting at the very most efficient setting, that ofcourse allso means playing without textures and that is a problem.
Why you ask?
that easy, someone riding a white bike, or atleast one with white trail, is a problem up against the white wall/rim that surrounds the arena, so i would like to change that, but how?
It would allso be nice if i were able to change floor color, the black one actually enoys me quite a bit.

thanks in advance.

theres not much you can do, but you can change around textures, which as you said you cant really play with, and you could use a movie pack, but that would be even worse than just changing the textures, all i can say is get a new computer =P

You can change the floor color. Type "floor" in your console to see available settings for that.

I don't think you can change the rim color, but in my experience a texture on the rim isn't much of a hit compared to a solid color, so try turning the rim texture back on and see how it goes for you.

Actually, the floor simply doesn't exist at the least demanding settings, so changing its color is pretty pointless. You're looking at a just-cleared color buffer. Possible solution: settings for clear color.

The rim was intended to have a texture with its original colors, so it's set to the identity color. Possible solution: settings for rim color.
