What is West Nile Virus?

Post by Speedracer »

-A mosquito-borne virus
-WNV was first detected in the United States in New York in 1999
-In California, WNV was first detected in 2002

Is this something that can get out of hand? :|

56 hummmm. Well never remember your age and you won't know what's it's like :) Don't like to think it's old that's for sure, if I did I may not play things like Armagetron or Gunbound. Still think i'm back in the 60's sometimes, but only when i'm not in the city.
Yup when you turn around and see that you have a daughter thats growen up, you friends have old kids, we all have houses and cars, mogages, plus more, you do wonder what happened to the time. Naaaaa just turn around again and keep on truckin.  Yup I don't mind being 56, still have a long way to go. Come and catch me.

I think you do want to remember your age, but you DO forget how old you are, thats why you put it in your name.

I have been keeping extra bottles of bug spray with me but I have yet to see a mosquito... I know they are out there just waiting to get their next drink. Watching us as we walk by and taking a big wiff to see if our sugar is sweet. The vampires of the day.

This link is interesting to me because as much as we seem to be on alert regarding these pests, I don't see why we haven't done something before. They obviously knew about there existance.

Ya Zapple, thats the way I feel, I don't want to forget my age cause then i'll be senile.
Ya don't remember how old you are Sab.
Yup I think you miss something great if you did not live in the 60' or 70's, was a very good time. Think people where much more open and friendlier, but that could be the area I grew up in. The 80's was a bummer for me  :!:
