[Unsolved]Settings keep Defaulting

Every time I start up Armagetronad, the resolution goes back to 640x480, and some of the details settings goes back to default. Im running the latest binary release on Ubuntu 6.10. My player settings remain untouched though, can someone help me out here.

As far as I know this only happens when Armagetron didn't quit normally, e.g. it crashed.

Thanks for you reply. I don't know what it was as I were quitting out normally.
I deleted user.cfg in ~/username/.armagetronad/ and booted up the game.
After it made a new one it was happy. Must of been something in my old config.

damn it, it would seem that its doing it again. can anyone help solve this?

I don't know whether it will be of any use, but could you send in a debug recording? Jonathan is right, AA should only do this when a crash occurred, and a debug recording should at least tell us when that happens.
