I'm not picking sides, but I would like to interject that a majority of the 55,000+ posts here are contributed by the first 14 members, of which two are no longer active and as such the total posts per day should actually be dropping.

The only reason I'm chiming in with that is because I have questioned the posts growth that gets mentioned here pretty often. It's all most like Howard Stern spending most of his time talking about how great his show is - every day. His show seemed to be about how great his show is.

Anyway - I suggest everyone put their ding dongs away and see how we can work together in a manor that would mutually beneficial.

Lucifer - I didn't understand your comment about Osc. Could you expand on that a little? Were you saying that the posts on this site chased him away - or that he chased people away? I need more coffee.

hmm well it seems that yet again you reply to one of my nice posts in such a mean way. Anyway, ill be seeing you around later. Glad to come on here and see that i am welcomed with open arms, seeing as how i am the one taking the time to help new players play this game. Some "noobs" go on the game and after seeing us advanced players own them every round they quit. I have tron lessons that will hopefully teach these new guys and help them stick around, do you offer that? And my forum also has a lot of things that fmods does not offer so no durka, my site is much bigger than fmods thanks. So the next time you insult someone who wants to help you think about what you say before you say it. And durka, you should learn a little something about forums mate ;)

If you wanted to help, you'd put your tutorials here, where people actually look for that stuff.

@Swampy: Osc used to try to run people off, remember? :) If you came on with a touch of 1337-ness or jesus-loving, you could be guaranteed your first post was osc trying to rip a hole in you. I used him as an example of the kind of welcoming behavior we do from time to time just because he's a good graphic example with the advantage that he's not here anymore. People here who aren't always nice to newcomers know who they are and what they do, for the most part.

And yeah, we are also very welcoming to many people. A lot of it depends on how you talk when you get here, you know, what kind of first impression is made. I have to admit, after going rounds with quite a few support requests where we would ask for all the information needed and only get it one piece at a time over a period of several days, I've mostly quit responding to support requests that dont' include enough information for me to help, or at least show potential for providing that information if I ask. :)

I don't think I have ever played you and calling yourself an 'advanced player' really means nothing to anyone. You should just leave and never come back like you previously posted and let everyone here go back to being assholes to eachother again.

His hosting provider doesn't seem to like external referers (not my typo). I get redirected to http://www.100webspace.com/ (which is probably not an image).

After being away for 2 days, I came back home, checked my mail and the forums. And I saw this discussion still going on...

Dudes! Let him have his hippi titty site man, let everybody decide for themselves wether to join it or not.. I mean, I'm not joining, but when you read the

posts I posted, now 2224, you will find the content of those posts and maybe it puts people to join the other forum.

But if the developers aren't joining the other forum, then you shouldn't expect it to be as up-to-date as this forum. And of course the discussions would be quite worthless since the developers won't discus in it and they won't even read it.

All I'm saying is: Let everybody make up their own mind about this. It isn't going to kill them if they think for themselves.

He promises lots of good stuff while suggesting that ‘we’ have next to nothing, but doesn't actually show much until you register and post a few times. That conlicts hard with the mindset of many people here.
