It's not exactly arma-related, but anyway. I just got hold of a free copy of the last beta release of Vista to see what it was like. I installed it on my laptop and since then I cant get my WLAN card to work. It's a standard Intel 802.11 b/g Pro-set card.
Keep getting messages like "The WPA code you entered does not match that of the network"; "Windows cannot connect due to an unidentified problem" and the likes. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas as to what might have happened.
Laptop: Sony Vaio FJ3S - in case this is needed for driver info
OS: Windows Vista Beta Build 5600
WLAN: Intel Proset 802.11b/g card (laptop standard)
ISP: Wanadoo (now Orange) WLAN/DSL 2 meg (UK Provider)
Thanks
driver/os/isp problems?
i get about 7 show up in my list when i switch WLAN on, and I know its definitely mine as I've renamed it
The thing is, I can get it to work if I use a 3rd party USB adapter that my ISP provided with the router, but I dont really want to use it as 1 - my laptop has a wireless card anyway and 2 - that USB adapter I use for my home PC.
