creating a server?

I am having a lot of trouble creating a server. I have done everthing to connect the server so everyone can play.I can see the server on the internet servers but no one else can see them. Can someone help me out i need it severly!!

do you have TALK_TO_MASTER set to 1
by default this is set to 0

this is in config/settings_dedicated.cfg

If it is evident that only you see your server on the master list and nobody else does, it means you haven't done port forwarding.

how do you save the server configs

Config changes should go in autoexec.cfg so that they don't get overwritten by a server upgrade.

each timee i click the armagetron dedicated icon it gives me the default.

Im having a problem hosting
ive got a mac and i dont know how to start the server
i cant save as settings_custom.cfg
and i cant save in the dedicated folder place plz help

Convert the files to plain text and then you can save it as a .cfg file.

I just downloaded the Mac dedicated server dmg. It appears that it should go in the config folder inside the Armagetron Advanced Dedicated folder (after copying the latter to a writable place, of course). To run the server, open a Terminal window, type "cd " (without " but with space), drop the Armagetron Advanced Dedicated folder on the window, hit enter, and type "./armagetronad-dedicated" (again without ") and hit enter again.
